Dr. C. Ramesh Kannan

Dr. C. Ramesh Kannan is a Professor and Vice Principal (Academics) at SRM TRP Engineering College with over 29 years of combined experience in teaching, industry, and research. His research interests include Cryogenic Processing, Tribology, Metal Joining, Machining, Advanced Manufacturing, Metal Matrix Composites, Surface Engineering, Electric Vehicle Technologies, Battery Thermal Management, Sustainable Manufacturing, and Materials Characterization. He is a recognized Ph.D. Supervisor at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) and has supervised research scholars in advanced manufacturing and materials engineering. He actively contributes to academic administration, curriculum development, accreditation, research mentoring, and industry collaboration. He is a life member of ISTE, IAENG, and the Indian Cryogenics Council, and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED).
