SRM-TRP Engineering College (SRM-TRPEC) was established in the Academic Year 2010 in NH45, Irungalur (PO), Mannachanallur (TK), Near Samayapuram, at Trichy district run by the SRM Group and focused to its ideals and steadily embraces quality, values and tradition. All staff and students of SRM TRP Engineering College are eligible for Central Library membership.

Students are automatically enrolled upon admission. Other eligible members must fill a membership form with the principal's endorsement.

  • •The students are instructed that, while entering into the library they should be in formal attire and should wear/display their ID card properly.
  • •Four books are issued for 15 Days and they should be returned on or before the due date stamped on the date-slip of document.
  • •Members are responsible for any damage caused by them to the books or any other property belonging to the Central Library and shall be required to pay the fine fee imposed upon them by the Librarian
  • •Any member caught tearing pages, taking books without checking-out officially from the library, will be suspended immediately from using the library facilities and further disciplinary action will be initiated against them by the Library Committee.
  • •All the books are stacked subject-wise, after reading please put them back in the same rack.
  • •Library Staff will not be responsible for readers' personal books/materials.
  • •Underlining, marking, folding of pages, etc. in the book is strictly prohibited.
  • •Please check the book before borrowing. If a book is torn, soiled due to rain, stained due to photocopying or loose from binding, this should be reported to the library staff at the counter. Borrower is responsible for the condition of the book while returning.
  • •Every reader who loses the book must report to the Central Library immediately and he/she will be given one month time to return the book. In case he fails to return the book after one month from the date of reporting, he/she will be charged a fine of Re 1/- per day per book until he replaces with the new copy of the same book. In case he/she can't replace the book then he/she will have to pay double the cost of the lost book/title.
  • •Any book should be either returned or renewed before the due date; a fine of Re.1/- each day per book will be charged from the next day of the due.
  • •All the final year students shall return books borrowed from the Library before commencement of the final project review and get No Due Certificate from the Library.
  • •All students and staff members are required to maintain discipline in the Library.
