The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a part of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and is a voluntary humanitarian organization. It aims to cultivate among the youth a sense of discipline, service, and dedication to humanitarian causes. The YRC promotes health, hygiene, and sanitation practices among people.
The Youth Red Cross is a group movement organized for group members aged 18 to 30. The YRC celebrates important days such as World Yoga Day and International Youth Day to raise awareness about its activities. The YRC also provides opportunities for youth to develop their personalities, communication skills, and social awareness and helps accomplish self-development goals through selfless service. Through its activities, the YRC aims to create a generation of socially responsible citizens who are committed to serving humanity.
