The Youth Red Cross (YRC), a wing of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), is a voluntary humanitarian movement for young people aged 18 to 30. It encourages discipline, service, and a commitment to humanitarian causes while promoting health, hygiene, and sanitation in the wider community.
Through awareness drives and events like World Yoga Day and International Youth Day, the YRC helps students grow in confidence, communication, and social awareness—shaping a generation of responsible, compassionate citizens through selfless service.

The Red Cross emblem features a cross with vertical and horizontal arms of equal length, shown in red on a white background. It is also known as the "Geneva Cross"
