Dr. J. Rex

Dr. J. Rex is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering and over 16 years of academic experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Anna University, Chennai (2017), an M.E. in Structural Engineering from Karunya University, Coimbatore (2009), and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Anna University, Chennai (2007). His expertise includes geopolymer concrete, structural durability, seismic and dynamic analysis using ETABS, and machine-learning-based structural performance prediction. He has contributed extensively to research indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, and holds multiple patents in structural and construction technologies. He is a Life Member of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education).
