Dr. M. Ganesh Karthikeyan

Dr. M. Ganesh Karthikeyan earned his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and has over 20 years of academic and professional experience. His areas of specialization include Heat Transfer, Renewable Energy, Thermal Engineering, Phase Change Materials (PCM), and Drying Kinetics.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. M. Ganesh Karthikeyan has been actively involved in teaching, research, academic administration, accreditation activities, and industry collaboration. His research interests focus on Heat Transfer, Renewable Energy Systems, Thermal Engineering, Phase Change Materials, and Drying Kinetics.

He has published more than 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings. He has also made significant contributions to innovation and intellectual property development, with seven patents published and one patent granted.

Dr. M. Ganesh Karthikeyan has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, seminars, and training programmes to enhance his knowledge and professional competencies. He has also guided undergraduate and postgraduate students in various research and industry-oriented projects. His commitment to academic excellence, research, and continuous learning has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the institution and the Mechanical Engineering profession.
