Dr. R. Jino

Dr. R. Jino is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering with specialization in Geomatics Engineering and over 15 years of academic experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Geomatics Engineering (GIS, Remote Sensing, Land Use/Land Cover Change Analysis, Transportation Infrastructure Planning) from Anna University, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus (2019), an M.Tech in Geomatics from PSNA College of Engineering & Technology (2007), an AMIE in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers (India) (2013), and a PG Diploma in Quantity Surveying & Valuation from Annamalai University (2017). His research and teaching interests include GIS and remote sensing applications, land use change analysis, highway and transportation infrastructure planning, geospatial technologies, and composite and geopolymer materials. He has published extensively in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, and holds a patent in fibre-reinforced composite materials. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG), the Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS), the Institution of Valuers (IOV), and the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), and an Individual Member of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS).
