Dr. R. Santhoshkumar

Dr. R. Santhoshkumar earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electric Vehicles, from the year 2025. His doctoral thesis, titled "Investigation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure: A Sustainable Approach Utilizing Hybrid Systems," focused on the design and development of sustainable electric vehicle charging solutions using hybrid systems. He began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at KIT–Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, where he served from 2016 to 2017. He subsequently joined Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Technology, Trichy, working there from 2018 to 2022, before moving to Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) from 2022 to 2026. During this period, he was deeply engaged in research on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, multiport converters, and digital twin technologies for power systems, and he also completed a PG certification in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at NIT Puducherry with a CGPA of 9.44. He has since joined SRM TRP Engineering College, Trichy, as an Assistant Professor, where he continues to pursue research-led teaching in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, power systems, and renewable energy integration.
