Dr. R. Sathishkumar

Dr. R. Sathishkumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM TRP Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sethu Institute of Technology, Madurai, M.E. in Power Systems Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, and Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He has over 16 years of combined teaching and industry experience. His research interests include Renewable Energy Systems, Smart Microgrids, Power Electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Energy Management Systems. He has published numerous SCI and Scopus-indexed research articles, authored a book and a book chapter, published multiple patents, and serves as a reviewer for international journals. He has also delivered invited talks, organized faculty development programmes and international conferences, and actively contributes to academic administration, curriculum development, and research in the field of electrical engineering.
