Dr. R.Meenal

Dr. R. Meenal received her B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Annamalai University, M.E. degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Periyar Maniammai University, and  Ph.D. degree from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, India. Her doctoral research, titled “Soft Computing Applications for Global Solar Radiation Prediction,” focused on the application of intelligent computational techniques for renewable energy forecasting. She has over 25 years of teaching and research experience, with more than 50 research publications and over 1,000 citations to her credit. She has successfully guided one Ph.D. scholar to completion and has guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate projects. Her research interests include renewable energy systems, solar energy forecasting, and intelligent computing.
