Dr. S. Pitchaikani

Dr. S. Pitchaikani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydrology and Water Resources and over 5 years of academic experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Hydrology and Water Resources from Anna University, Chennai (2021), an M.E. in Hydrology and Water Resources from Anna University, Guindy, Chennai (2008), and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University (2002). His expertise includes groundwater vulnerability assessment, GIS-based DRASTIC modelling, and remote sensing applications in water resources. He has contributed to research published in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, focusing on groundwater vulnerability mapping across river basins in Tamil Nadu. He is a Life Member of IAENG (International Association of Engineers) and IFERP.
