Dr. V. Vignesh

Dr. V.Vignesh completed his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and has over 13 years of professional experience, comprising 20 years in academia and 5 years in industry. His areas of specialization include Polymer Composite Materials, Biofilms Additive Manufacturing, and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. V.Vignesh has been actively involved in teaching, research, academic administration, accreditation activities, and industry collaboration. His research interests focus on Biofilms, design optimization, polymer composite materials, additive manufacturing, and engineering education. He has published more than 35 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. 

Dr. V.Vignesh has held several key leadership positions in engineering institutions. He served as Assistant Professor at Fatima Michael College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai, from June 2013 to April 2014. Subsequently, he worked as Assistant Professor at ULTRA College of Engineering and Technology for women, Madurai, from July 2014 to January 2018, he worked as Assistant Professor at Sethu Institute of Technology (Autonomous), Madurai, from January 2018 to June 2022, Moreover From July 2022 to July 2024, he served as Associate Professor at Sethu Institute of Technology (Autonomous), Madurai. Now I am currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SRM TRP Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli from November 2024 to till date.
