Dr. E. Raja

Dr. Raja Elangovan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at SRM TRP Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

He completed his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, in June 2025, specializing in Power Electronics. His research interests include Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Renewable Energy Applications.

Dr. Raja Elangovan has published more than 40 international journal papers, including 19 Scopus-indexed publications, and has presented 6 research papers at international conferences. He has been granted one UK Design Patent, four Indian Design Patents, and has published four Indian Utility Patents, reflecting his contributions to innovation and intellectual property.

He has delivered more than six guest lectures through both online and offline platforms and is an active member of three professional societies. His academic contributions focus on innovative research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and mentoring students in emerging technologies. He is committed to advancing research and fostering excellence in engineering education through teaching, research, and industry-oriented initiatives.
