Dr.G.Sasi

Dr. G. Sasi, M.E., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SRM TRP Engineering College. She completed her Ph.D. (2021–2026, Anna University) on deep learning for detecting retinal exudates in diabetic retinopathy using fundus images, and holds an M.E. in Applied Electronics (First Class with Distinction, 8.56 CGPA) and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Her research areas span IoT and signal processing, image processing and biomedical applications, and machine learning/deep learning. She has 5 patents filed/under review, 1 SCI and 13 Scopus-indexed journal publications, 67 citations with an H-index of 4, and serves as a reviewer/editor for several journals including the Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems and the Journal of Circuits and Systems.
