Biography
- She began her academic career in 2009 as a Lecturer at J.J. College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirappalli. After serving for over a year, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor, where she continued until January 2014, gaining valuable experience in teaching, academic administration, and student mentoring.
- In September 2019, she joined Trichy Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. During her tenure, she taught several undergraduate courses and contributed to various academic activities until June 2023. Since January 2024, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor at SRM TRP Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli.
- With more than twelve years of teaching experience, she has handled a wide range of undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering. Her expertise includes programming languages, software development, database systems, and core computer science subjects. She has also conducted numerous laboratory courses, providing students with practical exposure to programming and software development using C, Python, and Visual Studio.
- Apart from teaching, she has actively contributed to academic administration by serving as the Department NAAC Criterion 6 Coordinator, NBA Criterion 3 Coordinator, Department MIS In-charge, and Class Coordinator. Through these responsibilities, she has played a significant role in quality assurance, accreditation processes, departmental management, and student academic support.
- She holds an M.Tech. in Information Technology with First Class Distinction from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with First Class from Trichy Engineering College, Anna University, Chennai.
- She possesses strong technical proficiency in C, Python, and Visual Studio, with a keen interest in programming, software development, and emerging computing technologies.
- As an active member of the professional community, she is affiliated with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), enabling her to stay connected with current advancements in computer science and engineering.
- She is passionate about teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic excellence. Her primary areas of interest include Programming, Python, Software Development, Computer Science Education, and Emerging Technologies. She remains committed to enhancing students' technical competencies while contributing to institutional growth through quality teaching, academic leadership, and continuous professional development.
